Peter Kilpe
CEO of N2K Networks
As CEO and co-founder of N2K networks, Peter brings business, technology, and creative leadership to the company’s media and education endeavors. He was a founder and CEO of the CyberWire, the world’s largest B2B cybersecurity podcast network, followed by many of the most influential leaders and decision makers in the public and private sector, and a resource relied upon by analysts, operators, and students all over the word. Peter’s past roles include leading multidisciplinary design and engineering teams developing decision-support technologies, conducting visualization research, and improving the user experiences for large-scale analytic and information management systems. Peter is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, an avid reader and book collector, and an instrument-rated private pilot.
Simone Petrella
President of CyberWire and CyberVista
Prior to co-founding N2K Networks, Simone was CEO and a founder of CyberVista, a data-driven cybersecurity training and workforce development company dedicated to closing persistent cybersecurity skill gaps. For a decade she led a team of all source cyber threat intelligence at Booz Allen Hamilton in the national security and Defense sectors, where she built out a threat capability and team with in-depth subject matter expertise in all aspects of cyber threat intelligence, including support to both defensive and offensive operations. She later helped build the firm's cybersecurity practice in the commercial sector focusing on the creation of cyber fusion centers and the integration of cyber threat intelligence, security operations, and cyber defense operations into effective cyber security operations.
